Instructions for the preparation of manuscripts for publication in the proceedings
of APSORC '09

All presenters are encouraged to submit manuscripts for publication in the APSORC '09 proceedings. The conference proceedings will be published in the journal Radiochimica Acta, i.e., they are considered a full citable peer-reviewed publication in an international journal. The Impact Factor of Radiochimica Acta is among the highest of any related journals.

Please send the original WORD document plus the picture file as .GIF and the complete manuscript as a .PDF file by December 1, 2009 to HNitsche@lbl.gov (cc: LMBaker@lbl.gov), or submit the files in electronic form on a CD or memory stick directly to the Conference desk at APSORC '09.

Please consider the following general requirements when preparing your manuscripts:

  1. The conference only accepts unpublished, original work. It is therefore necessary that the authors make a thorough review of the relevant literature (literature citation will be closely checked) and clearly describe the new scientific aspects of their study. The format of the paper should follow the guidelines in Radiochimica Acta. All manuscripts must have the language checked by a person with a good command of English.

  2. Length to text: We recommend 10 typewritten pages with double-spacing including references and in addition to the text four figures and four tables. This recommendation will be handled in a flexible way. The scientific quality of the manuscript will be taken as first priority criterion for acceptance.

  3. Please prepare your manuscript according to the formatting instructions and styleguide of Radiochimica Acta:
  4. Please indicate the author (with mailing address and email address) to whom correspondence should be addressed (corresponding author).

Please email the original WORD document, the picture files and a .PDF file that captures the complete manuscript to:
